Basics Package
Just need a logo to get you started?
The basics package will help you establish a strong first impression for your business.
What does this package include?
Ideal for small, non-retail businesses who simply need a logo for (as examples) invoices and for adding to branded caps or shirts.
This package includes:
- One-on-one meeting/Zoom call
- Basic custom logo design (primary logo and icon)
- Basic Style Guide outlining how to use your logo

How long will the whole process take?
Why does design cost so much?
A brand identity is never just a logo - it’s so much more.
What’s a ‘style guide’ and why do I need it?
What are ‘logo use guidelines’ and why do I need them?
For example, down the track you may decide to sponsor the local junior league team. They’ll ask you for your logo to use on their uniform. By using your guidelines your logo will be used in the right way, and your brand will still appear consistently everywhere it’s seen, even on the Under 9s footie shorts.
What does ‘print-ready’ mean?
A print-ready advertisement is one that is ready to be sent directly to your local newspaper or other publication.
What are the different logo versions and why do I need them?
A logo variation is a rearranged version of your main logo design that gives your brand the flexibility to show up consistently, and recognisably, in different places. For example, your main logo won’t work as the profile picture on Instagram. I’ll create logo variations to help you maintain a cohesive and adaptable brand identity.
Primary logo
Your most complex and complete version, and the go-to version. It may include a tagline (if you have one). All other versions stem from this one. You’ll use this one when there’s no space restrictions, such as on a letterhead, signage, or business card.
Secondary logo
Also known as an alternate logo, it’s a stripped-down version of the primary logo, and usually has a different layout. Focus is on the brand name. May be used on business cards or invoices.
Submark
Simple but identifiable. Includes business name and/or a creative element. For fitting into small spaces where the larger variations won’t fit, such as social media profile images or a website header for mobile.
Logo mark
Similar to submarks but even smaller, and is a tiny illustration or your initials. It’s the branded icon on the tab on a browser window. Only ever seems to be noticed when you don’t have one!

I’ve curated my branding packages based on my experience with what’s usually needed by new and re-branding businesses, and to prevent issues down the track. If my packages don’t quite fit what you need I’m only too happy to discuss your situation and create a unique solution for you.
I’m skilled at designing all sorts of other marketing collateral for a consistent brand presence:
- branded social media graphics (done-for-you or supplied as a branded Canva template)
- brochures and flyers
- signage
- stickers, fridge magnets, caps and other merchandise
- newsletters
- posters and advertising
- email templates and more

What don't you do?
Fair question. Whilst I take great care to make sure your logo and branding will fit and look right at home with your competitors, I don’t create logos and brands that look like all the others.
I take pride in not using stock graphics or logo templates, so there’s no chance that you and your competition (or the bloke next door) will have the same logo.
Your logo and brand will be uniquely yours. For example, I’ll never create a logo for a small farming business with a stock-standard head of wheat, if farming is what you do and a head of wheat is what represents you and your business best, great, but you won’t get a logo that looks like your neighbours’.
While I’m happy to take inspiration from other designers, I’ll never copy other designers. Please don’t ask me to ‘do a logo exactly like this, but with my name’. It’s unethical and it’s theft.
