Client: Collway Earthmoving
Collway Earthmoving is a new regionally-based business, taking on new clients, and also starting to subcontract to larger construction and earthmoving companies on large projects.
The business owners pride themselves on precision and professionalism. They wanted a professional and unique logo that would help them stand out amongst their competitors, but also fit in within the industry.
They needed their logo and branding to be consistent every where it's seen, from invoices, quotes and business cards, to vehicle stickers, stubby holders and social media.
Note: The business name used for this case study has been changed for privacy reasons. The project process, brief and outcomes remain the same.

The Process
I worked closely with the business owners to define their values, and USP in the industry and the districts where they work. I also looked closely at the branding of their competition (locally and regionally) and what customers expect of logos and branding in the earthmoving and construction sector as a whole.
We worked closely to develop a strategic approach that guided the development of the visual identity.
The final logo incorporated uppercase ‘C’ with the shape of an excavator bucket to create a unique, modern and professional logo that fits appropriately alongside the branding of other businesses in the industry.
