Riverina Local Land Services
The 20-page guide needed to be practical and accessible for landholders and staff, and delivered in two formats: a high-quality print version and a fully accessible digital version.
The Process
Working closely with Allie, together we:
- Reworked the layout to meet new branding requirements, creating a more modern, visually appealing design
- Edited and streamlined the copy to improve the clarity and flow
- Maintained flexibility as the scope and content evolved, providing regular check-ins to keep the project on track
- Sourced a suitable printer and supported Allie and her team with decisions around paper stock and binding for the printed version.
As it was Allie’s first time working with a graphic designer, I made sure to clearly explain the process and offer guidance at every stage.
The Deliverables
- A complete redesign of the guide, aligned with the updated branding. The new layout is polished, professional and visually engaging, while still honouring the integrity of the original version. Readability and usability have been improved.
- 200 printed copies of the guide, delivered to the LLS office in Wagga Wagga and now ready to be on-hand for land managers at events
- A fully accessible PDF version of the guide, suitable for website upload or email distribution. This version meets accessibility standards and can be used with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
The Result
The final product is a fresh, professional, and accessible guide that retains the purpose of the original while making better use of visual design to improve engagement and impact.
The guide has received strong feedback from both staff and landholders, particularly around its polished look, ease of use, and the thoughtful balance between visual design and technical content.
